Guns 'N' Roses Fashion

Axl* F-ing* Rose. I mean come on...dangerous yes, rock star yes, sexy yes, fashion skills hell yes! Well at least when this photos was taken. For this post I draw inspiration from the 80's rock 'n' roll icon himself as I remember fondly singing Sweet Child of Mine at the top of my lungs on the way home from the water park in the back of my friend Heather's Mom's car in 1987. Good times.

Counting Down the Days

In no less than 6 days season 3 of Mad Men will premiere. I. can't. wait. *Spoilers* I was told, by someone in the know, that the series opens up 1 year after season 2 ended. Betty and Don are divorced and she is already married to the man she was having the affair with. She still lives in the same house with the new husband. The new company Don has created with the other ad men has yet to land any other clients than Lucky Strike and so they are struggling. *End of spoilers*  See you new week when we can gossip on all the latest!

Silk for Summer

I just love finding these vintage floral silk dresses at the markets because they are so perfect for the intense heat that we have at this time of year and no air conditioning anywhere to be had. The colors are also so much fun and I am always sure that no one else will be wearing the same thing.   

Unexpected Denim

Ralph Lauren came out with this bag for this years spring/summer line. I love it because it's a combination of a classic frame handbag with distressed denim. It's that unexpected use of denim that I love. It got me shopping....
