These traditional Mexican dresses are all over the vintage pages. There are some many beautiful ones to choose from, you might as well get one in every color. Day dress, house dress, or beach cover up they really pack a style punch. Now, I did see the What Not To Wear team throw one away just yesterday calling it a "hippy souvenir ". Usually I follow the guidence of WNTW (or, Ma Come Ti Vesti, as it's called in Italy) but this time I must protest. These dresses are great. To prove my point, here are some prime examples:
